Imperium Keys – Artist Bio

Real name Lartelier Frédéric, born in Brussels, Imperium Keys has been passionate about music since the 1990s. Starting out with vinyl records, he played his first sets on Fridays at Dockside before launching a dance career and opening his own dance school. He performed in legendary clubs such as Zillion, Boccaccio, and Atmoz, to name just a few.

In 2010, he shifted his focus fully to music production, working with synthesizers, drum machines, samplers, and grooveboxes — always performing completely live, without laptops or USB sticks. His live videos can be found on his Facebook page, showcasing the raw authenticity of his craft.

Over the years, he connected with renowned artists including Virtual Zone, Pat Krimson, Wim Van Dessel, and many more. In 2021, he even had the honor of performing at I Love the 90’s.

Now, in 2024, Imperium Keys is stepping into a new chapter, releasing three fresh tracks produced in Nivelles: Airwaves, Dreams, and Don’t Think. His live act is far from ordinary — joined on stage by a violinist, vocalist, and additional synthesizer player, the collective of five delivers a truly credible and immersive live experience where every sound is real, never playback.

Expect a night packed with powerful live sounds, driving beats, and non-stop club energy until the early morning.
